How to Become a Member

The first step in becoming a member of EECU is meeting the eligibility requirements. Membership is open to anyone who is a school employee, a student, a parent of a student, a member of a school organization or related to anyone who is.
If you meet any of these qualifications, all it takes to secure membership is to open a savings account at EECU and deposit at least $5 ($10 for joint accounts). Once your account is open, you gain access to the above special products and services that are only available to members of EECU. A checking account can also be opened with as little as $5.

*Products and services purchased with the Energy Efficiency Loan proceeds must meet EECU Energy Efficiency Standards. The Energy Efficiency Loan is a signature loan. No home equity, appraisal or collateral is required. Credit approval required. “As Low As” rate includes .50% automatic payment discount. The rate applicable to your loan will be disclosed to you before you become obligated. The rates range from 6.50% to 13% APR.
